VIVE, Inc. is an interfaith
organization that assists refugees seeking protection under the Geneva
Conventions in the
VIVE provides refugees with safe shelter, food, legal services, and care for other urgent needs. Tom Tripp serves as our liaison to VIVE, as well as the Episcopal representative to its Board of Directors.
As a not-for-profit entity, VIVE is mostly supported by private and faith-based contributions. It also has various material needs such as clothing, toiletry items, and cleaning supplies.
Fund- raisers are also an important staple in the operation of this organization. The annual Freedom Bowl is going to take place on Sunday, November 4, between 1-3PM. Tickets are $50 per person, and entitles the owner to sample several different international foods and even take the cleaned-up bowl home with them as a work of art. There will also be an on-going auction of themed baskets and other donated items.
